## Features

- Birthday and anniversary reminders on your schedule: tag each person with a reminder group and choose when that group is reminded, for example a month or a week ahead for close family, the day before for friends, on the day for colleagues. Each reminder opens the person's page with their gift ideas and notes.
- Reliable notifications: Settings > Notifications shows when a phone setting is blocking reminders (notifications turned off, precise reminders not allowed, battery saving) and takes you to the fix, with step-by-step guides for each phone maker (listed below).
- Holidays and family observances: turn on reminders for Mother's Day, Father's Day, Valentine's Day, Christmas, Diwali, Raksha Bandhan and other days families keep, chosen by country (see Special days by country below).
- Shortcuts for quick actions: long-press the Dearly icon to add a person or search your people, or pin someone to the Home screen to open their page or save a gift idea in one tap.
- Gift ideas and the little things: save gift ideas, plus details people mention in passing (a coffee order, a food they can't eat, a favorite author), on each person's page.
- Home screen widgets: a birthday countdown for one person, a Next occasion widget that moves on to whoever is next, and a Coming up widget with the dates ahead. Count down in days, hours, minutes or seconds.
- Birthday calendar: upcoming birthdays, anniversaries and occasions in a list or calendar view.
- Countdowns for anything: a trip home, a wedding, a graduation or date night.
- Family, friends, colleagues and pets: work anniversaries, and pets with their birthday and adoption day.
- Import birthdays and anniversaries from your phone's contacts.
- Light and dark mode.
