Mother’s Day is not on the same Sunday everywhere. Father’s Day can be in March, May, June or September depending on where you live. Each page below lists the days people keep in one country, grouped the way Dearly’s Special Days shows them, with this year’s and next year’s dates.

Why special days matter

A birthday comes once a year. Special days add a few more moments in between: a call to your parents on Father’s Day, flowers for a grandmother, sweets for a brother on Raksha Bandhan. None of them need a big gesture. Each one is simply another reason to connect with the people you love.

They matter most when family is far away. A shared day gives everyone a reason to reach out at the same time, and small moments like these, kept up year after year, are what keep relationships close.

Pick your country. If it isn’t listed, “Other countries” has the days kept almost everywhere.
